Etna Rosso Contrada Martinella has a clear ruby-red color in the glass. This wine has aromas of rose petals, cassis, fresh cherry, and dark chocolate. On the palate, there is a silky texture with a very long finish.

Martinella
Martinella is the Etna red wine par excellence. A wine that uses the autochthonous grapes Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio from a single vineyard, Contrada Martinella, located on the Etna volcano.
After a meticulously grape selection by hand, the grapes are destemmed and softly pressed.
The fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 26-29°C for 15 days.
After the wine is racked, it matures in 225L barriques of French used oak (about 70%) and in 500L French and Caucaso tonneaux (about 30%) for five years and four months. Before its release, Martinella is refined in a bottle for at least six months.
