The Serrato stands out with its ruby red color. Aromas of red rip fruit, like cherries and blackberry, with chocolate and tobacco notes, delight the nose. Overall, this Tuscan wine is an excellent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which presents itself on the palate with an elegant, velvety character and a long-lasting finish.

Serrato

Dario Pasqui meticulously selects only the grapes that have reached their full potential to create the Serrato Toscana Rosso. Every year, the harvest for this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot takes place between the end of September and the first 10 days of October. After a long maceration process with traditional skin contact at a controlled temperature in a steel tank, the wine is ranked and matured in French oak barriques and in tonnox. Depending on each vintage, Dario decides how long the wine should age in the bottle. The result is a velvety, elegant wine with pleasant tannins that fully express the terroir and the work of Dario Pasqui’s vision of a true Tuscan red wine. No more than approximately 1,500 bottles per year are produced.
