Salisire is Vivera’s true expression of an Etna white wine made solely of the indigenous grape variety Carricante. The wine is straw-yellow in color and typical aromas of flint, citrus, and balsamic rise to the nose. On the palate, a certain freshness and savory taste can be detected to the sulfurous and mineral notes.

Salisire
The careful selection of the autochthonous grape Carricante results in an exceptional Etna white wine:
Salisire is characterized by its typical flint aroma, elegance, and freshness. After a meticulous grape selection manually, the grapes are de-stemmed and softly pressed without oxygen.
The fermentation occurs under a controlled temperature of 14-16 °C for a few weeks. Afterward, the wine rests in a stainless-steel tank on fine lees for 36 months, concluding its evolution in the bottle for another 12 months.
